What counts as an anagram?

An anagram rearranges every letter of a word into something new: LISTEN → SILENT, EARTH → HEART. Two words are anagrams when their letters sort to the same sequence — that shared sequence is all an anagram really is.

If you only need words that fit inside your letters rather than using all of them, the word unscrambler is the tool for that — it is the same engine, listing every length instead of only the full one.

This solver works on single words. Phrase anagrams, where the letters split across several words, are not supported yet.
